Dec 2, 2011 · Why would any chocolate milk contain wheat, barley, or rye? I've never seen any. And the only chocolate milk mix I've seen that does is of course regular Ovaltine and Carnation malted. I use Ovaltine Rich Chocolate all the time. best regards, lm

Oct 17, 2006 · I am thinking that milk might be a problem. Next time I go to the store I am going to buy soy milk and see if that helps. His BMs have slowed down a little. Now he won't go for a couple of days sometimes. He had D one day, but that was after DH gave him some Ovaltine (he didn't know it had malt in it or that he couldn't have malt).

Jun 1, 2007 · My kids love both the Rich Chocolate Ovaltine and the Carnation Instant Breakfast Chocolate powder. Now both probably have the same CC risk since both products have other flavors which contain malt, but they don't ever seem to have any issues with either product and they are all pretty severe in their reactions when they do get glutened...

He was very clingy and did not eat so much because he was scared of getting sick (and probably feeling awful). But he was back to waking up every 2-3 hours at night for milk with Ovaltine since he was so hungry.
